Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin became known for an angry demeanor when he first entered the NFL as an undrafted player out of Stanford but following Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey’s comments during the week, Baldwin proved not so angry about the situation. Ramsey on Wednesday informed the NFL world that he would not taper down his trash talking, as he did in week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals when he matched up with Larry Fitzgerald. Due to Fitzgerald being a living legend and the young defensive backs respect for that resume, he decided he would play without his usual boisterous charms. Baldwin gets no such exceptions in week 14, because as Ramsey put it, he’s good but not Fitzgerald.

Baldwin actually concurred when would go back to him on the matter.

“He’s right. I’m not Larry Fitzgerald. I’m Doug Baldwin,” he told the Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta.

He also stated that he didn’t take offense to what Ramsey had said and had didn’t have a problem with his week 14 opponent. Baldwin’s not shy about saying what’s on his mind; so if he had a problem with Ramsey, he’d likely say it or at least playfully hint at it. Instead, he’s going about his business as usual. But, that concession doesn’t mean there still can’t be fireworks between them.
